The Power of Smart Home Technology and Feeling In Control.
A while ago, Jack in Ipswich was attacked on his door step by someone he did not know and whom had a knife. The attacker stabbed Jack with a knife multiple times piercing his body and head. Jack still has knife marks in his front door and is now afraid to answer the door. The attack was completely unprovoked and Jack did not know the attacker at all.
Jack now has a Cassius Video Doorbell installed, (please email ask@youralcove.com if you wish to learn more) which he can in fact navigate completely independently via the Video Doorbell App on his own mobile phone. Jack had no internet at all so Cassius provided the Video Doorbell itself plus the 4G Router to provide the internet access , and we used his own email address to set up the Video Doorbell App log in.
Jack can now receive notifications on his phone to let him know someone is ringing his doorbell and he can log into the App and see and speak to that person before he answers. His mobility is limited so this saves him getting up and answering the door as well as having the reassurance he in answering to someone he knows or is expecting.
